All work is made to order. Please ensure the correct size is ordered, as each item is individually cut and sewn and is non-refundable.
Payment
Payments are pre-authorised at the time of placing an order. No goods will be supplied without payment.
Conformity of Goods
Sofika takes every care to ensure that product descriptions and specifications on the website are accurate. While colour representation is as close as possible, responsibility cannot be accepted for colour variations caused by computer screens or browsers.
Returns
All items are made to individual order and are non-refundable under current UK distance selling regulations. If not completely satisfied, contact within 7 days of receipt to discuss adjustments or exchange. Exchange items must be returned unworn, with tags, and in perfect condition. This does not affect statutory rights.
Goods must be returned in original condition and packaging.
Do not return garments without prior contact.
Responsibility is not accepted for garments lost in transit.
Registered post and proof of posting are recommended.
All postage costs for returns/exchanges are the customer’s responsibility and are non-refundable.
Claims
Claims for damage, delay, or partial loss of goods in transit must be made in writing to Sofika within seven working days of delivery. Sofika must be given reasonable opportunity to investigate any claim. If requested, the customer must promptly return the goods and any packaging materials securely packaged for examination.
Customs & Duty
Shipments outside the UK may be subject to import duties and taxes, levied once a shipment reaches the destination country. These charges are beyond Sofika’s control and must be borne by the customer.
Contract Information
Products supplied from the website are supplied by Sofika. Submission of an order represents an offer to purchase the indicated products. Sofika is not liable for any delay or failure to perform obligations if caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control.
The buyer is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of order details.
Orders are not accepted unless all requested details are entered correctly.
No order is accepted until confirmed by email or telephone.
Sofika reserves the right to refuse any order without explanation.
Intellectual Property & Right to Use
All copyright, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights in all material or content supplied as part of the website remain vested in Sofika at all times. Use of this material is permitted only as expressly authorised. Visitors may download a single copy of material for private viewing purposes only. No copying or distribution for commercial or business use is permitted without prior written consent.
Privacy Statement
Sofika is committed to maintaining privacy. Information submitted with orders is used to process orders and provide updates. Order information is kept securely on file to support a personal approach to clothing making and may be referred to for sizing and style preferences. Information can be deleted upon request.
If consent is given, occasional emails may be sent about special interests. Unsubscribe requests are honoured at any time. Data is never passed to third parties.
The site is built using Squarespace, which is GDPR compliant and secure. Payment data is not held by Sofika; online payments are processed via PayPal or Stripe, and credit card information is not accessible.
